HELPFUL TIP:

Conflict is your story’s secret sauce, supplying tension, relationship friction, and complications to a character’s journey. It comes in a million different forms, so identify the obstacles and problems that will hit your character the hardest by using the Character Builder to uncover their primary insecurities, fears , and desires. Don’t forget to include everyday conflict scenarios that will frustrate them and keep the pressure high.

EXAMPLES:
A civilian being set up for a crime they didn't commit
Being accused by employers for someone else's wrongdoing 
A politician being framed by a rival
Being used as a scapegoat by an employer who is guilty of breaching a code of conduct, ethics violations, or fraudulent dealings

An employer forcing the character to take a leave of absence
Having to pay for legal representation
Having to come up with bail money
Missing work to attend meetings (with lawyers, detectives, employers, etc.)
The character having to find evidence to prove their innocence

An existing criminal record making it harder to convince people of the character's innocence
