CHOOSE MY PLAN

HELPFUL TIP:

There’s probably a good reason why your character chose their career. Think about how certain talents and skills, a dominant positive or negative trait, or even an emotional wound might have influenced this decision. And once they're on the job, don't forget about the many work-related conflict scenarios you can throw at them to create tension and add complications.
OVERVIEW:
A concierge typically works at a hotel, assisting guests and making their stay as enjoyable as possible. Their tasks often include scheduling transportation, making reservations, answering questions, and offering advice on local events to attend. The best concierges will go above and beyond their expected duties to provide guests with extraordinary service.

NECESSARY TRAINING:
Both a high school diploma and previous hotel experience are preferred but aren't required. Knowing the immediate area well and being familiar with its current events and goings-on is a must for providing excellent service. A concierge should also be able to relay succinct and clear directions. In some locales, knowing multiple languages may be a requirement.
