CHOOSE MY PLAN

HELPFUL TIP:

There’s probably a good reason why your character chose their career. Think about how certain talents and skills, a dominant positive or negative trait, or even an emotional wound might have influenced this decision. And once they're on the job, don't forget about the many work-related conflict scenarios you can throw at them to create tension and add complications.
OVERVIEW:
Podcasters provide information or entertainment to the public through audio recordings that focus on a specific content area. Episodes are available to the public on various apps and websites that allow users to download them and listen at their leisure.

Successful podcasters need to create quality recordings, which requires a certain level of technical savvy. These duties may be handled by the podcaster or a team of workers. They also should publish material in a timely manner, frequently providing their followers with new content. To reach and grow their audience, they must be able to market and promote themselves and find ways to bring in revenue, which might include advertising, selling merchandise, obtaining sponsorships, or putting on live events. Some podcasts are not free to download or may require a subscription; this can be an additional way to make profit.

NECESSARY TRAINING:
Naturally, a podcaster must be educated on their chosen topic. They will also need to have strong interview skills, be personable, and understand their audience's interests and needs. Podcasters should also possess basic knowledge of audio recording and editing, possess quality recording equipment, and have an ideal location for taping where background noise can be minimized or eradicated.

One of the most important pieces of equipment in the podcaster's arsenal is their voice. Whether they use a professional vocal trainer or go the do-it-yourself route, a podcaster will need to hone their skills so they can speak with clarity, eliminate vocal tics (such as frequent throat clearing, word repetitions, or too many umms), and address any other issue that might be irritating to listeners.
